Isidora Bilbao is a psychologist who graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and holds a PhD in Ecological-Community Psychology from Michigan State University. She is director of the Department of Social-Community Psychology at Alberto Hurtado University (UAH).

Her research focuses on well-being in the everyday lives of adolescent girls. She is a member of the international Children鈥檚 Understandings of Well-being (CUWB) research network, which conducts qualitative studies of childhood well-being, and participates in the Community Health Working Group of ANPEPP in Brazil.

Daniel Castillo Mauna is director of internationalization at Alberto Hurtado University (UAH). He holds a degree in Political Science from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and a Master鈥檚 degree in Development and International Cooperation from the University of Chile. He is currently pursuing an EdD in Higher Education at Boston College.

He leads UAH鈥檚 internationalization strategy, strengthening partnerships across the Jesuit network, mobility programs, Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) initiatives, and other university efforts related to international engagement.

Sebasti谩n Collado is a clinical psychologist specializing in work with adolescents and adults, as well as a scholar and researcher. He is a postdoctoral researcher at the Millennium Institute for Research on Depression and Personality. He holds a PhD in Psychology from Alberto Hurtado University (UAH), where he also teaches, and a Master鈥檚 degree in Gender, Culture, and Social Change from the University of Innsbruck, Austria.

He is a member of Cl铆nica Trenza, a feminist psychoanalysis network, and the founder of Psicoan谩lisis Dial贸gico (Dialogic Psychoanalysis), an initiative dedicated to studying the relationship between art and contemporary psychoanalytic practice.

Johana Contreras is an educational psychologist who holds a Master鈥檚 degree and a PhD in Sociology from the University of Bordeaux in France. She is a faculty member and director of Graduate Studies and Research in the Faculty of Psychology at Alberto Hurtado University (UAH).

Her doctoral dissertation, supervised by sociologist Fran莽ois Dubet, was a comparative study of educational models and the experiences of students and teachers in Chile and France.

Daniela Fern谩ndez is a psychologist who graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Valpara铆so and holds both a PhD and a Master鈥檚 degree in Social Psychology from the University of Exeter. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Community Social Psychology and Research Methods at Alberto Hurtado University (UAH). Her research interests include gender and social inequality, belonging and identity processes, and social norms and intergroup relations.

Gabriel Fortes holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Education funded by an ANID grant. He currently serves as Professor at the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL), where he bridges academic research with public policy impact. He leads research at the Educational Equity Observatory (MEC/UFAL) and works as a senior researcher in the development of the School Trajectory Protection System (SPTE/MEC), a national initiative aimed at preventing school dropout and supporting at-risk students across Brazil. His research interests lie at the intersection of technological development, educational inequalities, and applied cognition, with a particular focus on designing evidence-based educational solutions. His work seeks to translate insights from cognitive science into scalable interventions that promote equity, strengthen learning trajectories, and address structural challenges within the Brazilian public education system.

Samuel C. Gable, PhD, is an Assistant Professor and pediatric psychologist at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In his clinical practice, he specializes in developmental disorders and provides bilingual (English and Spanish) psychotherapy and comprehensive psychological assessments within a multidisciplinary pediatric clinic. His work integrates developmental psychology, family systems, and culturally responsive care to support children, adolescents, and their families facing complex neurodevelopmental and emotional challenges. Mostly unreconciled from his chosen career, Samuel writes on topics of philosophy, psychoanalysis, and theology, with specific interests in Jacques Lacan, S酶ren Kierkegaard, and Romantic irony. He is the author of the forthcoming book Lacan for the Faithful: Christianity and Psychoanalysis in the New Dark Age, to be published in the Palgrave Macmillan Lacan Series. The work offers a sharp, faithful engagement between Lacanian thought and Christian theology amid the spiritual and cultural disorientation of our technological age. Following its publication, Samuel plans to embark on a major new project with his pseudonym.

David Goodman is Dean of the Woods College of Advancing Studies, the Executive Director of the Center for Psychological Humanities and Ethics, and serves on the faculty in three Boston College departments: Counseling, Developmental, and Educational Psychology, Philosophy, and Formative Education. Dr. Goodman has written over a dozen articles on continental philosophy, Jewish thought, social justice, and psychotherapy. Dr. Goodman currently serves as the Series Editor for the Psychology and the Other Book Series with Routledge. He has authored and edited over a dozen books including The Demanded Self: Levinasian Ethics and Identity in Psychology (with Duquesne University Press, 2012) and Psychology and the Other (with Mark Freeman and Oxford University Press, 2015). Dr. Goodman is also a licensed clinical psychologist and has a private practice in Boston, MA.

Tamara Jorquera is a social psychologist who holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Chile. She also holds a PhD in Person and Society in the Contemporary World from the Department of Social Psychology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She is currently director of the PhD Program in Psychology at Alberto Hurtado University (UAH).

Her research, community engagement, and teaching focus on post-dictatorship political violence, practices of resistance, local archives, and human rights. She is a member of the CLACSO Working Group on Collective Memories and Practices of Resistance.

Justin M. Karter, PhD, is a licensed clinical and counseling psychologist whose work sits at the intersection of depth psychotherapy, the psychological humanities, critical psychology, and the philosophy of mental health. He serves as Acting Program Director for the in-development PsyD in Clinical Psychology and Psychological Humanities at Boston College, where he is also affiliated with the Center for Psychological Humanities & Ethics. Dr. Karter is also currently President of the Society for Theoretical and Philosophical Psychology, Division 24 of the American Psychological Association, and the Research News Editor for Mad in America, where he covers critiques of (and alternatives to) mainstream mental health discourse.

Mookie is a psychotherapist, professor, and researcher 鈥� interested in suffering, embodiment, meaning-making, narratives, trauma, memory, and ethics. He is a Licensed Independent Certified Social Worker (LICSW) psychotherapist in private practice, which blends narrative therapy, psychoanalysis, logotherapy, mindfulness traditions, and body-based techniques. Mookie is a Part-Time Faculty for the School of Social Work (i.e., Narrative Therapy, Adult Psychological Trauma) and Department of Psychology & Neuroscience (i.e., Introduction to Psychopathology) at Boston College. Additionally, he is co-leader of the Psychological Humanities Lab: Ethical Research and Clinical Practices. Mookie is honored to serve as the co-chair for Psychology and the Other, as well as an Associate Editor for its namesake series with Routledge: Taylor & Francis Group. Currently, Mookie resides in Boston, Massachusetts, and is also pursuing a PhD in Pastoral Theology & Psychology at Boston University.

Javiera Navarro-Marshall is Assistant Professor at Universidad Alberto Hurtado, Santiago, Chile. She holds a degree in Psychology from Pontificia Universidad Cat贸lica de Chile, an MSc in Forensic Psychiatry and Psychology from King's College London, and an MA in Observational Studies from the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust and the University of East London. She holds a PhD in Psychology from Universidad Alberto Hurtado. Her research focuses on new family forms, origin stories, and narrative identity. She is a child psychotherapist and Director of the Master's Program in Relational Psychotherapy with Children and Adolescents at Universidad Alberto Hurtado.

Sofia Rietti is a Ph.D. student in Philosophy at Boston College. She holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Colgate University and an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College. Her work sits at the intersection of philosophy and clinical practice, drawing on feminist philosophy, psychoanalysis, and phenomenological ethics to explore ethical and existential dimensions of mental health care. Through her research, she hopes to deepen philosophical understandings of suffering, embodiment, and relationality while bringing critical insights from therapeutic practice into conversation with contemporary philosophical thought. She is also involved with the Center for Psychological Humanities and Ethics and the Cura Psychologia Project.
